- The article reports on the results of the parliamentary elections in France, particularly the 180 seats won by the left-wing party New Popular Front. Also cited are the demand issued by the party to President Emmanuel Macron to immediately form a government so it could present its choice of prime minister and the challenges facing Macron and the New Popular Front's Jean-Luc Mélenchon in advancing their agenda.
