Abstract

In an era marked by environmental consciousness and sustainable development goals, assessing the sustainability of residential structures has become paramount. The Footprint Family offers a comprehensive framework for evaluating the ecological impact of buildings, considering factors such as carbon footprint, water footprint and ecological footprint. This article explores the significance of assessing residential sustainability, outlines the components of the Footprint Family and discusses its application in the construction and evaluation of eco-friendly homes. By utilizing this framework, stakeholders can make informed decisions to promote sustainable living and mitigate the environmental footprint of residential structures. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
