Genetics of Bacteria: a call for papers.

The Genetics Society of America is calling for submissions of papers on the Genetics of Bacteria for their journals GENETICS and G3: Genes|Genomes|Genetics. The series aims to highlight recent genetic and genomic work on various aspects of bacterial genetics, including genetic diversity, genome preservation, mutagenesis, gene function and regulation, bacterial defense systems, and the genetic basis of medically important traits. The series will be launched in mid-2025, and authors are invited to submit manuscripts by September 30. The papers will undergo peer review and will be published online shortly after acceptance.
