Abstract
- The article discusses a rare variant of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) called cutaneous myxoid spindle cell SCC. It explains that this type of SCC can be found in different parts of the body and is characterized by poorly differentiated spindle cells with myxoid stromal change. The article presents a case study of an 84-year-old man with this rare subtype and discusses the diagnostic criteria and management of the tumor. It emphasizes that more research is needed to fully understand the behavior and genetics of this rare variant of SCC. [Extracted from the article]
