Synthesis of ɑ‐Aryl‐oxindoles via Grignard Reaction with Isatin in the Presence of Diphenyl Phosphite.

A protocol has been developed for the synthesis of α‐aryl‐oxindoles from isatin and Grignard reagents in the presence of diphenyl phosphite for the first time.
