Meet Our New Editorial Board Members of Rising Stars.

This article introduces Professor Xiulin Fan as a new member of the editorial board of the Chinese Journal of Chemistry. Professor Fan's research focuses on the design of novel electrolytes and their impact on the electrochemical performance of next-generation lithium batteries. He has gained insights into the solvation structures of electrolytes and their relationship to the formation of the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI). Professor Fan has also discovered a new transport mechanism for lithium ions in electrolytes, enabling high energy density, fast charging, and a wide operating temperature range in lithium-ion batteries.
