Abstract
- Two prototype houses have been designed to support women and children recovering from homelessness and domestic violence. The architects collaborated with the Hobart Women's Shelter to create a housing model that provides safe and connected homes for at-risk families. The project aims to address the lack of affordable housing options for women and children in crisis. The houses feature trauma-informed design principles, natural materials, and thoughtful details to create a secure and supportive environment. The architects hope to expand this model to deliver more homes on a larger scale. [Extracted from the article]
