Abstract

The article discusses the knowledge and training gap in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) fellowships regarding the interpretation and troubleshooting of Mohs frozen section tissue processing. The authors conducted a survey among MSDO fellows-in-training to assess their training and comfort level in this area. They then developed an interactive lecture series to address the gaps identified. The post-intervention survey showed improvement in fellows' knowledge and confidence, indicating the effectiveness of the lecture series. The study highlights the need to strengthen fellowship education in the interpretation and troubleshooting of Mohs frozen sections. [Extracted from the article]
