A APROPRIAÇÃO DAS TECNOLOGIAS DE INFORMAÇÃO E COMUNICAÇÃO POR INDÍGENAS TERENA: INSTRUMENTO DE LUTA E RESISTÊNCIA.

This article aims to analyze how Terena indigenous people perceive the use of communication and information technologies. Field research was carried out through semi-structured interviews with Terena indigenous teachers from Mato Grosso do Sul. A qualitative analysis was performed by articulating the teachers' answers with authors from the field of indigenous education and interculturality. The research allowed for the conclusion that, according to indigenous teachers, communication and information technologies are a means of struggle and resistance, thus serving to strengthen their political struggle for rights, as well as Terena indigenous identity and culture.
