Abstract

The article discusses the issues of improving the energy efficiency of mainline locomotives with asynchronous traction motors by determining the characteristics of the traction drive using a device for measuring the magnetic field of the resulting magnetic field of the stator winding. It is known that the resulting magnetic field of the machine is formed by the joint action of the stator winding and the rotor winding. In this case, the rotor winding, according to the law of electromagnetic induction, acts with its magnetic flux on the primary magnetic flux of the stator, which is a reaction of a short-circuited rotor. The study of the magnetic field of asynchronous traction motors makes it possible, based on the data obtained, to improve the energy efficiency of electric rolling stock with asynchronous motors during their design.
