Abstract

Geographical indication agricultural products are an important lever for the development of characteristic agricultural industries. Strengthening the construction and development of geographical indication agricultural product brands plays a positive role in increasing farmers’ income and promoting regional economic development, and is one of the important guarantees for the sustainable and healthy development of the agricultural industry. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has a variety of agricultural land resources, including plains, hills, mountains, plateaus, and oceans, and abundant resources of characteristic agricultural products. At present, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has made significant progress in the construction and protection of geographical indication agricultural product brands. However, there are still problems such as small quantity, uneven distribution, weak brand awareness, limited promotion channels, low brand reputation, and insufficient attention to cultural and historical factors, which urgently need to be further addressed and optimized. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously strengthen the exploration of geographical indication agricultural products, enhance brand protection awareness, broaden marketing channels, strengthen brand promotion and management, and deeply explore cultural and historical characteristics, in order to continuously enhance the brand value and competitiveness of geographical indication agricultural products in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
