Abstract
- This article, published in Chemistry of Natural Compounds, explores the extraction and identification of water-soluble nitrogenous compounds from Chlorella pyrenoidosa, a type of green algae. These compounds, known as Chlorella Growth Factors (CGF), have various health benefits and are used in medical treatment, health care, beauty, and food industries. The study isolated and identified 11 nitrogenous compounds from CGF, including nucleotides and rare base components. These compounds have important physiological functions and contribute to our understanding of the pharmacological effects of CGF. The document provides detailed information on the molecular formulas, physical properties, and spectroscopic data of these compounds, such as 7-Methylguanosine, Hypoxanthine, Xanthine, Adenine, Nicotinamide, Cytosine, Uracil, and Thymine. The document also acknowledges the funding sources for the research. [Extracted from the article]
