Abstract
- This article discusses a case of intralobar pulmonary sequestration in a 60-year-old female patient. Intralobar pulmonary sequestration is a congenital lung abnormality where non-functional lung tissue is isolated from the bronchopulmonary system and receives blood supply from a systemic artery. The patient presented with symptoms of exertional dyspnea and cough, and imaging tests revealed a lesion in the left lower lobe. The patient underwent surgical resection of the sequestration. The article provides information on the characteristics, diagnosis, and treatment of pulmonary sequestration. [Extracted from the article]
