Abstract: Dr. Brian Collier, the former Editor‐in‐Chief of the Journal of Neurochemistry from 1996 to 2006, passed away January 4th, 2024. Brian's illustrious career spanned the fields of neurochemistry and pharmacology. He published his findings on mechanisms of acetylcholine synthesis and storage in the Journal of Neurochemistry, and his contributions remain landmarks in neurochemical research.
