Abstract
- A retrospective cohort study described a patient who developed severe bradycardia while being treated with ivabradine for lower cardiac output and improved oxygenation. The patient received venovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation support to enhance oxygenation. However, the patient experienced a heart rate of less than 40 bpm, indicating severe bradycardia as a result of the ivabradine therapy. The study did not provide information on the patient's age, sex, time to reaction onset, or outcome of the adverse drug reaction. [Extracted from the article]
