Abstract

A 50-year-old man developed paranoid psychosis after being treated with indometacin for a headache. He had a history of neurocardiogenic syncope and cranial autonomic disorder. After receiving an injection of indometacin, he experienced dizziness, chest pain, and loss of consciousness. He became confused, agitated, and aggressive, and developed symptoms of paranoid psychosis. He was eventually diagnosed with an idiosyncratic drug reaction to the indometacin. After receiving alternative treatments, his symptoms improved. [Extracted from the article]
