Abstract

This article discusses the management of acute type A aortic dissection (ATAAD) complicated by coronary malperfusion. The study reports on the experience and revascularization strategy of a single center for patients with ATAAD and coronary malperfusion. The patients were divided into different subgroups based on the pattern of coronary dissection. The study suggests that concomitant coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) may not be necessary for Neri negative and Neri A patients, but should be considered for Neri C patients. Planned CABG may be advisable for Neri B patients. [Extracted from the article]
