Abstract
- Reading comprehension processes are not only essential regarding literacy competence and to learning to learn competence, but also, they represent a fundamental necessity as regards the citizenship competence. Based on a possible interpretative model, the Structure Building Framework, the paper examines some secondary students with learning disabilities' difficulties in reading comprehension processes. With reference to the scientific literature, some instructional approaches able to support these students' reading comprehension processes are exposed: in particular, text structure instruction, graphic organizers and summarization are presented.
