Abstract

This article, titled "The Many Avatars of Knee Osteosarcoma," discusses the various radiologic appearances of osteosarcoma (OS), a type of bone tumor. The authors conducted a retrospective analysis of 24 biopsy-proven cases of OS over a two-year period. They found that OS can have atypical manifestations that resemble other benign or malignant conditions, such as fibrous dysplasia, aneurysmal bone cyst, chondroblastoma, and osteomyelitis. The article provides detailed descriptions of the different radiologic features of OS, which can aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions. [Extracted from the article]
