Shaping the Outlook for the Autonomy Economy.

This article explores the role of autonomous machine computing (AMC) in the autonomy economy, an economy that utilizes autonomous vehicles, robots and drones. The article uses historical precedents—personal computing and mobile computing with the interplay of the semiconductor industry--as the basis for AMC. Topics include the challenges faced by AMC and the roadmap forward which includes programming language and runtime systems development.
