Abstract

This study aims to describe the perception of Pre-service Science Teachers (PSSTs) regarding climate change and climate awareness. This study used a mixed-method embedded design approach with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. According to the findings, PSST believes that climate change is a serious phenomenon with a connection to global warming and that there is a need for mitigation and adaptation activities to lessen the impacts and build community resilience. Furthermore, prospective teachers can use climate change education in the classroom, resulting in a more resilient generation. This research implies that universities can teach about the importance of climate change to PSST as a milestone in solving the problem for future generations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
