Abstract

Nanxun Bridge is a self-anchored suspension bridge with double towers and double cables. It spans the class III waterway of Changhushen with a span of (3+45+100+45+3) m. In order to eliminate the construction risk of temporary ground anchors of self-anchored suspension bridges in soft foundations, the segmental installation of steel girders by cable cranes is optimized to the large segmental installation of steel girders by less support method, and temporary anchoring and temporary cable strands are eliminated. The girder before cable technology is adopted, the horizontal force of the main cable is balanced by the axial horizontal force of the longitudinal steel girder of the main span, and the cable, end cross beam and longitudinal steel box girder are self -stabilized by the stress system. The construction procedure of the main cable erection and derrick tension is simple, and the cable strands are accurate, which improves the installation accuracy of the cable system, saves the engineering cost of temporary anchorage and temporary cable strands, and shortens the construction period.
