Abstract

This article describes the synthesis of bioactive phenazine-lactone hybrids. Oxygen-containing heterocycles, such as lactones, have pharmacological potential, including antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory activities. The study aims to synthesize these hybrids using different catalysts and solvents, obtaining better yields with the MAI.Cl catalyst and ethanol as the solvent. The synthesized phenazine-lactone derivatives will be evaluated for their bioactivity. [Extracted from the article]
