Abstract

This article presents a study that evaluated the cognitive level of elderly individuals who attend Family Health Centers (CSF) through a brief screening test. 563 elderly individuals were evaluated, with 365 women and 198 men, with an average age of 69.33 years. At the end of the test, 64.9% of the elderly were classified as positive for cognitive deficit, while 35.1% were classified as negative. It is concluded that the majority of elderly individuals who attend CSF present cognitive deficit based on the test conducted. [Extracted from the article]
