CARACTERÍSTICAS DA MARCHA DE UM GRUPO DE CRIANÇAS COM TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO AUTISTA.

This article describes a study that investigated the characteristics of gait in a group of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The objective of the study was to identify and describe the alterations in gait in these children. Gait assessment was conducted on a sample of 25 children aged between 3 and 6 years old. The results showed a great variability in the evaluated parameters, such as step length, stride length, cadence, and gait velocity. Knowledge of these gait alterations can be useful for evaluation and treatment planning in children with ASD. [Extracted from the article]
