The diagnosis and misdiagnosis of Sjögren disease.

Although one of the most common systemic autoimmune disorders, Sjögren disease (SjD) may be overlooked in patients presenting with non‐specific symptoms or no complaints of sicca symptoms. SjD is not a condition to be missed as patients could present with serious extra‐glandular manifestations, including lymphomas. In this article, we discuss the diagnostic pitfalls of this disorder and encourage physicians to consider carefully the 'non‐textbook' presentations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
