Abstract

The research was conducted to examine the attitudes of the students studying at the Faculty of Health Sciences towards children's rights according to various factors. This research is a quantitative research and was carried out using the general survey model, one of the quantitative research methods. Two hundred forty three students studying in different undergraduate programs participated in the research. "General Information Form" and "Attitude Scale Regarding Children's Rights" were used as data collection tools in the research. Frequency, percentage analysis, Mann Whitney U Test and Kruskal Wallis Test were used in the analysis of the data. The findings show that the students generally have a positive attitude towards children's rights. As a result of the research, it was determined that the students' attitudes towards children's rights differed significantly according to their gender, the department they attended, the class they attended, whether they saw themselves as competent in advocating for children's rights, and whether they took lessons on children's rights. The attitudes of female students towards children's rights are more positive, as the grade level increases, students' attitudes towards children's rights are more positive, students who consider themselves competent in child rights advocacy have more positive attitudes towards children's rights has been determined.
