Abstract

Relugolix+estradiol+norethisterone is a combination therapy used to treat symptomatic uterine fibroids in adult females of reproductive age. It is not available in Australia as a monotherapy. The therapy consists of relugolix, which suppresses the release of certain hormones, estradiol to limit menopausal symptoms, and norethisterone to reduce estrogen-induced endometrial hyperplasia. Clinical trials have shown that the therapy effectively reduces heavy menstrual bleeding and other symptoms associated with uterine fibroids. However, it is important to consider potential drug interactions and contraindications before prescribing this therapy. [Extracted from the article]
