Abstract

This article aims to analyze the influence of tragic art on Nietzsche's critique of morality, highlighted in his early writings dating from 1872-1873, and its connection with his mature works. We will explore the interconnection between philosophy, art, aesthetics and the ascetic ideal, seeking to emphasize the importance of understanding the tragic perspectives present in the philosopher's thought. The approach to Greek tragedy, with an emphasis on the pluralistic, agonistic and fatalistic worldview of the Greeks, establishes the basis for understanding Nietzsche's critique of morality and his preference for the authenticity of the worldview of the ancients.
