Abstract

This writing arises from the experience of community work carried out from the First Level of Care by the Mental Health Team of a Health Center together with a women belonging to a neighborhood in the capital of Salta -Argentina-. An experience that was born with the objective of accompanying the community in the construction of tools for health promotion and non-specific prevention collectively in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the multiple experiences of loss and social isolation. Given this context, group meeting and support spaces were set up at the Villa Soledad Health Center, initially calling from the Mental Health Team with Health Agents; space that was configured as a meeting between women and configured flexibly according to emergencies and both group and community movements that were mutually linked within the framework of the community intervention process from Public Health. We share and discuss some questions and reflections about the process, seeking to recover the words and feelings of its participants in relation to theoretical-practical conceptualizations from Community Psychology; in order to systematize certain axes of the experience and at the same time problematize about our work located in the public health system of the province of Salta -with its possibilities, difficulties and tensions.
