Abstract
- This study aimed to analyze the educational practices related to information literacy improved by libraries incorporated in Brazilian federal universities. For that, an exploratory and documental research with a qualiquantitative approach was carried out, using the content analysis. A number of 657 actions of an educational nature were identified. Note that, despite the high number of identified activities, some content such as characterization and evaluation of information sources are not observed in most activities. In addition, the need to integrate educational practices into the students' curriculum was identified. Consider that this project will contribute to the creation of an applicable information literacy program, aimed at the Brazilian context in which libraries and higher education institutions will be based on a theoretical-practical model to assist in information literacy actions.
