Abstract
- The article discusses the findings of NASA's James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) regarding the Cigar Galaxy, also known as M82. Located 12 million light-years away, M82 has a high rate of star formation, 10 times faster than the Milky Way. The JWST's infrared sensitivity allows it to accurately count M82's star clusters and capture a detailed image of the wind emanating from its core. The article includes images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope and the JWST, highlighting star clusters, gaseous streamers formed by galactic winds, and concentrated areas of iron from supernova remnants.
