Abstract
- The article explores the rise in popularity of hot honey as a condiment. Topics discussed include the combination of sweet and spicy flavor in hot honey which was first introduced as a pizza topping in the U.S., entrepreneur Mike Kurtz's experimentation with hot honey which led him to launch his brand of hot honey sauce in 2010, and Savannah Bee Co. and Momofuku's introduction of their own version of hot honey.
