Oscar del Barco and Bolívar Echeverría are two of the most important Latin American philosophers of recent times, especially about the encounter between philosophy and Marxism. In this sense, this article seeks to expose and problematize some of the main points of his reading around Marx's texts, giving special attention to the way in which both, from a deconstructive exercise, question the assumptions with which Marxism has been operating, emphasizing those theoretical and practical pillars that constitute the development of their respective crisis, both in Europe and in Latin America.
