Abstract
- The article titled "Drifting Apart" discusses the open cluster Collinder 359, also known as Melotte 186. The cluster is located near Gamma (γ) Ophiuchi in the constellation Ophiuchus. It can be observed using binoculars, with 7x50 or 10x50 binoculars providing the best view. Collinder 359 is similar in distance and proper motion to the nearby open cluster IC 4665, but the stars in Collinder 359 have started to drift apart, highlighting the process of galactic evolution.
