The purpose of the present article is to analyze archaeological evidence from 3rd century CE Asia Minor, more precisely, epitaphs from the province of Asia in the context of Roman imperial power, to shed light on aspects of identity in terms of daily praxis and interaction between Jews and Christians. The study focuses on the realm of identity praxis and not on the domain of identity speech, to which written sources are the main evidence. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
