Abstract

The article explores the role of genetic risk in the association between psychedelic use and manic symptoms in adolescents. Topics discussed include a study of adolescent twins, the impact of genetic vulnerability to schizophrenia or bipolar disorder on manic symptoms, and the limitations of the study regarding the recreational use of psychedelics.
