Abstract
- A literary criticism of the Africanfuturist science fantasy novel "Who Fears Death" by Nnedi Okorafor is presented. Topics discussed include the exploration of Black girlhood in the novel, the tendency of Black women authors' speculative fiction to complicate the boundaries of fiction and truth and the possibilities of blackness, and the portrayal of sexual violence in the novel.
