Abstract

The article focuses on the significant increase in bison population on the Great Plains in recent years, driven by restorative efforts led by tribal members. Topics include the ecological benefits of bison restoration such as soil health improvement and species diversity, the implementation of culturally significant regenerative agricultural practices by Tribal Nations, and the need for federal policy reform to support Native American regenerative agriculture.
