Abstract

The purpose of this simulation is to examine the current distribution of a hexagonal and rectangular microstrip patch antenna. Drugs and Methods: With FR4 as the substrate, the hexagonal and rectangular innovative patch antennas' resonance frequency current distribution is 2.4 GHz. The 32-sample data set from two groups with 16 samples has a mean of 0.68940 and 0.54820 according to high-frequency structure simulator (HFSS) model computations. Results: A rectangular patch antenna has a current distribution of 0.72632 dB, whereas a hexagonal antenna has 0.52658 dB. The 0.015 (p 0.05) difference between groups is significant. Thus, the microstrip patch antenna's maximum current distribution fluctuates. The hexagonal antenna has a more even mean current distribution than the rectangular one. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
