Abstract
- This research uses MATLAB theoretical assumptions to compare retrograde ejaculation to normospermia in sperm flow pattern, maximum, and mean velocity. Retrograde ejaculation was done on 28 normospermic men, and the gold standard World Health Organization technique was used to report sperm quality (WHO). Based on past research, Clincialc.com calculated sample sizes with a threshold of 0.05, G power of 80%, and enrollment ratio of 1. We analysed the two groups' flow rates and velocities in Matlab using assumed and standard values from the literature. The independent samples t-test showed no significant differences in flow rate, maximum velocity, or mean velocity between retrograde ejaculation and non-reprograde groups (P= 0.193, 0.374, 0.067). The mathematical models indicated that normospermia had a larger flow rate (0.09817m3/sec), mean velocity (0.03125m2/sec), and maximum velocity (0.0625m3/sec) than retrograde ejaculation. These data highlight the role of blood flow rate and velocity in retrograde diseases like erectile dysfunction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
