Orbitacolax kyphosi sp. nov. (Copepoda, Cyclopoida, Bomolochidae) recovered from the brassy chub Kyphosus vaigiensis (Quoy & Gaimard, 1825) (Actinopterygii) in Japan.

Orbitacolax kyphosi sp. nov. is described based on a single specimen of the female recovered from washing fluid of the brassy chub Kyphosus vaigiensis (Quoy & Gaimard, 1825) (Centrachiformes, Kyphosidae) in Japan.
