Abstract

A 53-year-old woman developed gastrointestinal mobility disorder while being treated with domperidone for loss of appetite. She experienced symptoms such as headache, vomiting, chest tightness, palpitations, and difficulty breathing shortly after taking the medication. She also had a lung infection and pulmonary edema. The woman was diagnosed with pheochromocytoma-induced cardiomyopathy, and after receiving comprehensive treatment, including alpha-blockade therapy and a successful adrenalectomy, her condition improved and her symptoms resolved.
