Valoración biomecánica del raquis lumbar con NedLumbar/IBV: a propósito de un caso de degeneración de los discos intervertebrales.

The article presents a study on the biomechanical assessment of the lumbar spine using the NedLumbar/IBV software. The objective of the study is to provide doctors with an objective tool to select the appropriate treatment for patients with intervertebral disc degeneration. A clinical case of a 54-year-old man with lumbar pain is presented, and tests with the NedLumbar/IBV software are used to evaluate the functionality of his lumbar spine. The results show altered functionality and difficulties in generating force and stability due to pain and weakness. As a result of the assessment, surgical intervention was ruled out, and a conservative treatment focused on exercises, anti-inflammatory medication, and muscle strengthening was prescribed.
