Abstract
- The article presents a study on alcohol-associated hepatitis (AH), highlighting the crucial role of Interleukin-8 (IL-8)+ neutrophils in driving severe liver inflammation. Topics discussed include the identification of IL-8+ neutrophil accumulation in AH patients, the unique gene expression profiles of liver-specific IL-8+ neutrophil clusters, and the potential therapeutic strategies targeting IL-8 signaling to mitigate liver inflammation in AH.
