Abstract
- This article is a systematic review of seroprevalence studies conducted in the Western Pacific Region (WPR) to examine trends in measles seropositivity in different countries. The review included 69 studies and found that seropositivity remained high among children aged 1-6 years in China, Korea, and Australia. However, a decreasing trend in seropositivity was observed among adolescents and adults in Korea. The findings suggest that while children are protected by vaccination programs, susceptible individuals with waned immunity may be present among the adult population. [Extracted from the article]
