Abstract: This section offers art industry-related news briefs as of May 2024. Topics discussed include the failure of the Israel Pavilion at the Venice Biennale art exhibition to open for press preview, the destruction of the Shababeek for Contemporary Art centre in the Gaza region during the March 2023 Israeli military attack, and the closure of the British Museum due to the protest activity of the Energy Embargo for Palestine protesters at its front entrance.
