Abstract

A recent study conducted by career development and outplacement firm Intoo, in partnership with research firm Workplace Intelligence, found that many Gen Z employees trust AI chatbots like ChatGPT for career advice over their managers. Around 47% of Gen Z workers surveyed said they received better advice from a chatbot than from their manager. The survey also revealed that toxic work environments and a lack of career advancement are contributing to employee dissatisfaction. Additionally, the study highlighted that many workers are actively seeking employment elsewhere due to poor treatment and a lack of support for career development. [Extracted from the article]
