Abstract
- The article discusses the move by some school librarians to alter illustrations to avoid book challenges. Topics include statement from Dana Belcher, president of the Oklahoma Library Association (OLA) about altering images, stand of the American Library Association (ALA) on altering or editing any part of a library resource, and response of Kansas elementary school librarian Erin Schramm on the idea of tampering with illustrations.
