Abstract
- The article presents the discussion on contemplating the first whole eye transplant (WET) procedure in humans. Topics include implications of such a procedure on the physical, social, and psychological well-being of the patient, and focus on the need for transparency, information-sharing; and authors acknowledge the tension between the medical and social models of disability.
